Almost instantly when my female 7yo Chocolate lab urinates on our St Augustine grass it turns brown and dies. Since we just resodded the yard this is a real problem. Her 5yo son's urine has no effect on grass. Both have same diet of Blackwood 1000. Live in SC, USA. Any ideas?

Have you consulted your vet? It seems to me your dog has something toxic in its system. Have you been using Blackwood 1000 long?

maybe your dog is hyperacidic. it might be an indication of a kidney problem.

I agree with Eleni. I suspect your dog's urine is too acidic. I think dog urine normally has a pH balance of more than 6.0 which is quite acidic really.
