| Hmmm... I really think marrying pets is like a live version of Barbie-Ken marriage when we were younger. But both are still immature! I personally would not do it coz i would be embarrassed to do such a thing. And it really is kinda stupid. But if it makes you happy, well, its your money anyway! |

LOL I totally agree! When I was young, Barbie and Ken had multiple weddings. they were all polygamous! Ha ha ha! But really, i think it's pretty lame to let pets get married. But... whatever floats your boat! |

i have 2 pugs, a boy and a girl but they are not related. Never in my life did i ever think of marrying them! I'd be too embarrassed to do that! Plus, i'd be the laughing stock! no offense to people who practice this, but i really think it's just plain dumb. peace! |

I don’t know about this pet marriage thing, but whatever makes some people happy. It’s not as if I opposed to weirdness, because then I might have to have a real problem with myself. But really, it’s more for the humans that are involved then the dogs themselves. The pups don’t really understand that whole marriage business, it’s a human thing. You know, I’m not sure I understand it either; maybe the dogs have something there. With the married people I know, I’m becoming nearly scared of the idea. |

If one could find a pet dog talented enough to play the role of a priest or a minister then perhaps pet dogs could live happily ever after Seriously, we could make our pets happy by simply giving them tender-loving-care and religiously attending to their biological needs which of course include giving them the oppurtunity to meet and mate with a suitable partner. You can have them married afterwards that is if you are prepared to suffer the consequences of a divorce |

| Personally, I don't see anything wrong with pet marriage. I just don't see its relevance, even to the pets. I see dogs staying together for as long as they live even without exchanging vows. Plus, you can't really expect an animal to honor a verbal or written agreement, can you? I just don't see the point. Anyway, to each his own. |

Pet marriage? Isn't it so mushy? I don't think we need to spend much on this thing. Our pets probably don't even care if we set them up for marriage or something. Let's just let them be. It's supposed to be a natural phenomena for them, not something that needs human intervention I guess. |

| I know a lady who had a wedding ceremony for her two dogs. The "bride" wore a gown and the "groom" wore a tux. She had flowers, a photographer, a videographer, and sent out invitations. She had rented out a hall where the reception was held immediately following the ceremony. There was a cake, presents, the whole works! |

Should a dog's religion be considered if ever it gets married? Who decides about its religion and prospective spouse? |

Those are very good questions, Doug. Sadly, I can't answer any of them.
Anyway, I think that, for now, the owners are the ones who decide for the dogs when it comes to marriage. |

I passed by this website that makes clothes for dogs and saw that they had a "wedding dress" section. So I realized there must be a number of dogs out there getting married since this website finds that there is a market for dog wedding dresses. That's good news for us pet lovers! |
