yeah our pets can have diabetes too from eating a lot of food rich in calories. diabetes is also associated with obesity so when our pets get too fat, then they also risk having the disease.

Really? Sad I hope our pets don't get diabetes! This is a very debilitating disease.

Yes, we really do have to watch what we feed our pets. I know it's tempting to just give them their every whim but it can be harmful to them in the long run.

yes our pooches need lots of exercise they could get. taking them for walks can do the trick. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

yes, walking and playing with them, too! playing with them games like frisbee is a form of exercise as well. Very Happy

the important thing is that when you see signs of diabetes in your pets have them immediately examined. and this goes for any disease.
