Here is Bruno, my friend Hazel's shih tzu. Can you guys see his pillow bed? That deep impression shows how much he loves it. Or is it how much he loves to sleep?

Very Happy Laughing Very Happy

That's a very nice photo, Keith -- and an equally nice pet! Was that photo taken by a pro?

Bruno's like my puggle, who also loves to sleep! Laughing My Jessie sleeps on a pink-striped bloom pillow bed, which I especially bought for her. It's quite cozy, i figure it makes her want to sleep more! Laughing

that's weird, it kinda makes me wonder too if it's really a shih tzu? i do know shih tzus have long hair and wooly coat. their hair can be kept long for dog shows but they can also get a short hair cut so it's possible that they will look different, and their hair trimmed?

so tell me keith, did you get bruno a trim?

@ALL

Bruno is really a shih tzu. My friend had him trimmed because of the warm weather. With his thick coat, he could easily get a heatstroke.

@DOUGLAS
Hazel's boyfriend takes good pictures but he's no professional.

So that's why that dog doesn't look like a shih tzu. They do look weird with less coat. Laughing

Can you post a picture of Bruno BEFORE he was trimmed? Smile

yeah it seems a happy breed with lots of cheer! i like it that his hair was trimmed. it made him look happier, maybe because the heavy burden of carrying those loads of hair was taken away. his owner did a good job.

As you can tell, Bruno's my favorite dog, even though he's not mine. Cool

Here he is again playing with a rope.
