| i heard about a company that provides collision coverage for their customer's pets. company pays like 500 dollars if a customer's cat or a dog dies or is hurt in a car accident.. not bad. |

| This is good news for all pet owners especially since most of us treat our pets as family members. |

haha that's hilarious! imagine getting insurance nine times? if that's the case, then I'll get myself a pet cat and get her insured right away! |

| I think this pet insurance thing is just a fad. I have cats and dogs and it never crossed my mind to have them insured even if they're like family to me. |

I love my dog but it never crossed my mind to have them insured. I agree with Petmeister; this is just a fad (and a pathetic money-making scheme). |

fad or not, i wouldn't mind getting an insurance for my pet. if it can support his health needs and can make him live longer, i'll put him on insurance right here, right now! |

| if what you're saying is true, that this is just a fad and, worse, a money-making scheme then something ought to be done to correct this. cause i really can see the benefit of having pet insurance. |

| if properties can be insured, then why not insure our dear pets. pet lovers might as well take advantage of this offer; however, legal implications must be carefully ascertained.. |

| Insuring our pets is quite selfish; I mean, think about it, we all know we're gonna outlive our pets, right? So if we insure them, isn't that just making money out of a tragedy? A selfish profit-making scheme at the expense of our beloved pets? |

| that's one way to look at it, irvin. but i don't think that's the intention of pet owners. it just means that you value your pets. |
