I saw a Dog Quotes topic in another thread so I decided to start one for us cat lovers. I'm gonna start with this one which just hits the spot for me:

"The great charm of cats is their rampant egotism, their devil-may-care attitude toward responsibility, their disinclination to earn an honest dollar."

- Robertson Davies

Feel free to add more. I'm sure you guys have your own favorites. Wink

Absolutely! I believe cats think highly of themselves and that we are more or less their inferiors.

My cats aren't the prima donna type. Sometimes, maybe. Generally, they're very nice, even to strangers. Smile

How about this one from French philosopher Michel de Montaigne:

“When I play with my cat, who knows whether she is not amusing herself with me more than I with her.”

Very Happy

This is quite funny:

“When my cats aren't happy, I'm not happy. Not because I care about their mood but because I know they're just sitting there thinking up ways to get even.” - Percy Shelley
