Well, cats are territorial right? and they constantly need to "mark" their places. bein' a new place an all, then maybe they just want to own it, if you know what i mean. Very Happy

Dude, I heard that cats peein all the time is an indication of a health problem. Or it could be that they got stressed with the transfer. If things don't improve, maybe you could ask your vet. goodluck with the peein problem, man! I know how much cat pee stinks! LOL!

Yes, it could be an indication of a health problem. Or maybe it could be due to stress because of the transfer. Perhaps you should go to the vet to be safe? Do keep us posted ok? Smile

I agree with Cynthia. It could be a sign of a health problem. Do have your pet checked by the vet right away. Very Happy

Haha talk about "marking" their territories. Cat peeing is a serious problem in any household. Do consult your vet, man! Hope he/she could help you. Keep us updated ok? Good luck!

Cats are mysterious creatures indeed; but they don't do something or act in a certain way without reason. maybe your cat is suffering from FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) which is a common disease. Consult your vet immediately to get to the bottom of all this. I'm quite confident your vet will know what to do.

Honey, your cats shouldn't be peeing just anywhere they wanted to. You should train them, seriously.

oh...you must do something. there are ways to stop them from peeing and messing up all over your place. why don't you try the "stop repellent spray"? it's quite handy, who knows, it might work for your cat.

i had this problem with my cats before. we stayed in my cousin's place in Washington for a week and i brought my pets with me. they won't use the litterbox and would just pee wherever they feel like it! i guess they thought they have to "mark" my cousin's place, too, since it's new territory! it was both funny and frustrating.

Joey, I really hope you take your cats to a vet or something. It wouldn't hurt to have them checked; it might even do some good. I know you love your cats so please just go ahead and consult your vet. You'll thank me later Wink

my vet once told me that urine marking is an indication of stress in cats. maybe joey's cat became stressed when they moved to the new apartment.
