| i don't think so. i think they kill the cats when the owners(the pharaohs or anyone of importance)dies. they can't all die the same time, right? so it's fair to guess that these pets were killed. |

| Wow, mummifying cats. It's ok if they're already dead but if you mummify a cat just because its owner is dead, that's a tad bit unfair, isn't it? What if it were the other way around? Would they mummify the owner if his cat died? |
