well as we all know what works for me may not work for you and vice versa BUT ....
I used to have trouble with bath time, and believe it or not the trick that works for me is i leave my bathroom door open and he sits in the doorway while i shower i talk to him and be silly but then he sees that there is nothing wrong since he sees his mommy doing it, he gradually started inching towards to tub to investigate and once he was used to the sound ( i would playfully splash him too) and used to the water its been great since then. not sure if your tub is big enough but would it help to actually sit on the edge with your feet in the water too?
but i do understand the workout you can get with trying to bath a dog who doesnt want to stay in the tub.
good luck |
