I have a friend who dearly wanted to have a rottweiler. His problem is that his wife wouldn't hear of it. She says rottweilers are aggressive and not safe to have around a house where there are small kids.
So my questions are: "Are rottweilers safe for kids? Can these dogs be well-trained so they can be around children?"
Thanks in advance for anyone who would answer.

| Hey, man. rottweilers are safe and great to have around a house with kids. That is, if they are well-trained. Ask a professional first before you get one just to be sure. |

| Rotties are very loyal, portective, and are great with kids. We had one for 13 years, and never once, had a problem. Loyalty goes a long way when it comes to choosing a pet. |
