Applying Revolution to my dog

How long does it take for the Revolution medicine to take effect and flow into a dog's bloodstream?

Can I give me dog a bath a few weeks after I apply the Revolution or do I ned to re-apply after a bath (even though there is a 3 week gap between the application and the bath)?

i took my time answering, haven't really used revolution till last week. i applied it, that's what the instructions say, right?everythings okay, .

used revolution on my dog last week. applied it, let it dry then gave her a bath the following day. no reapplication. results look good, seems the fleas are gone.

i bought revolution the other week for my pet and its product description says that it also kills heartworms. has any of you tried using it to kill heartworms?

I haven't used Revolution yet but I heard from a friend that it has great results in her pet...she says Revolution not only prevents heartworm disease but also kills fleas, that's like killing two birds with one stone huh?

My friend told me Revolution doesn't actually kill the heartworms...they prevent those heartworms from growing in our beloved pet's vital organs. I'm sure no one would allow those heartworms to invade our precious friend's organs like the heart, liver, etc....i don't know where else...but oh goodness! I couldn't allow that to happen!

I heard also that aside from heartworms, Revolution also kills ear mites and sarcoptic mange... is this true?
