Hello to all you lovers of small animals.
I recently read somewhere that albino cats who have one blue eye and one brown one are almost always deaf. First, is this true? And, second, did anyone else read that article? I'd like to find it so I can be sure. Thanks in advance for your help.

As discussed in another thread here (Green-blue-eyed Cat), it may simply be a case of heterochromia. From what i read it is not really harmful or dangerous, though I'm not really sure as to what causes it.

Heterochromia is a result of too much melanin in the system which may be caused by disease or injury. It may also be inherited or due to mosaicism. Heterochromia is seen in humans but is more common among cats, dogs, and horses.
